"Everything I have eaten here is good, but the best thing on the menu is the BBQ Pork sandwich. The fries are almost done to perfection with a crispy exterior. Service was prompt and pleasant. Bricks & Ivy Tavern was born out of one simple idea: Spring Grove deserved a real sports bar — one with exposed brick, cold draft beer, and enough screens to catch every pitch of a Cubs game without craning your neck.
Tucked off US-12, we've become the go-to spot for families, regulars, and die-hard Cubs fans across McHenry County. From the warm amber glow of our Edison bulbs to the ivy-green trim on our taps, every detail was built to make you feel like you're watching the game at Wrigley — minus the traffic.
We welcome all White Sox Fans & have their games on as well. We are lucky to have two teams that call Chicago home. And we look forward to a All-Chicago World Series some day!
